Russian opposition politician Navalny confirms arrival at Arctic prison

Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny confirmed his arrival at a prison in the North Pole on Tuesday and said he is in good spirits.

Navalny posted an update on X after being missing for over two weeks. He also mentioned meeting with his lawyer.

His allies said on Monday that he was transferred to a penal colony north of the Arctic Circle.
