Georgian police used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse opposition protest: AFP

Georgian police used tear gas and rubber bullets on Tuesday to disperse protesters, according to a correspondent for Agence France-Presse, with thousands participating in a demonstration against a controversial "foreign influence" bill in the country.

Masked police officers suppressed a peaceful demonstration using tear gas and rubber bullets, and also physically assaulted participants in the protest against the bill, leading to the arrest of dozens.
