Ukraine evacuates residents from border towns in Kharkiv

A local official in Kharkiv, Ukraine, announced on Friday that evacuations are taking place in towns in the region, including Vovchansk, which has a population of 3,000, after it was subjected to 'heavy shelling.'

A high-ranking Ukrainian military source reported that Russian forces are trying to establish a 'buffer zone' in Kharkiv in northern Ukraine to prevent Ukrainian forces from shelling Russian territory.
