An Ethiopian domestic worker in the town of Barja repeatedly stabbed her employer, identified as 25-year-old Isaaf Abou Khachfa who was 9-month pregnant, leaving her severely injured.
In the details, reports and eye witnesses said that the worker attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the balcony after she tried to cut her own throat; but the neighbors managed to storm into the apartment, and prevent her from jumping.
They immediately handed her over to the security forces.
Isaaf was transported to the Siblin Hospital where she remains in a critical condition, while her baby died.
The domestic worker was taken to al-Jiyeh Hospital.
