Investigations continued Thursday into the murder of citizen Maroun Nohra on Wednesday night in the region of Majdelyoun, eastern Sidon, after being shot inside his vehicle on a busy road.
After reviewing the CCTV footage from the area, the shooter was identified as Lebanese citizen W. A., from Bar Elias and residing in Majdelyoun.
The security forces raided his house but did not find him, managing to arrest his parents for interrogations.
During the interrogation with the mother, she admitted that her son recently discovered that she had been in an affair with the victim.
The investigations are ongoing in order to reveal the whereabouts of the shooter and arrest him.
