REPORT: Nasrallah says regional conflicts serve Israel’s interests

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered on Friday a televised speech during a ceremony marking Al-Quds Day.

 

In his speech, Nasrallah said that one of the goals of the conflicts and wars in the region is to devise a settlement at the expense of the Palestinian people.
“The Resistance axis worked and is still working on aborting such a goal,” he added.

 

Nasrallah also highlighted the attempt to isolate Iran and considering it “an enemy” instead of Israel.

 

“The terrorism war with Iran will fail and will have counterproductive effects,” he added.

 

On another note, the Hezbollah chief said that the conflict in Yemen aims at eradicating all forces and movements that stand by Palestine.

 

He also accused the United States of creating the Islamic State, Saudi Arabia of funding it and Turkey of facilitating its movement."

 

As for Syria, Nasrallah stressed that Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran’s steadiness surprised the world decision-makers which are leading the battles in the region.
