Rai urges for speedy financial and economic measures to save Lebanon-[VIDEO]

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai stressed that “we cannot involve the country in the struggles of others,” adding that neutrality is a constructive dialogue method.

 

Rai's comments were made during his Sunday's sermon, whereby he pointed out that “the people need a president who will pull Lebanon out of the conflicts.”

 

He went on to underline the need to speed up taking financial and economic measures that save Lebanon, noting that the state has several methods to save the money of depositors in banks, but unfortunately does nothing.
