The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday the first case of cholera was registered on October 5 in Lebanon in the Akkar Governorate. The patient is being treated in the hospital, and his condition is stable.
this is the first instance of this kind in Lebanon since 1993. (the date of the last cholera outbreak).
