The Committee of Byblos International Festival declared that “in an unprecedented move and as a result of the consecutive developments, the committee was forced to stop ‘Mashrou Leila’ concert that was scheduled for August 9, 2019, in order to prevent any clash and to maintain security and stability, contrary to the practices of some groups.”
The committee expressed its regret over this situation and apologized from the audience.
