Health Minister Hassan: Death toll of Beirut port explosion rises to 154

Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Friday that the death toll of the explosion that shook Beirut port reached 154.

Hassan’s comments were made while receiving an Algerian medical delegation that arrived to Lebanon, adding that 20% of the 5000 injured people needed hospitalization.

 

"We also have 120 critical cases, especially that the blown glass caused severe injuries that require critical surgeries,” the minister added.
