Army calls for observing one minute of silence one month after blast
The army Command called on Wednesday for observing a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the 190 victims who were killed in the port explosion, and in prayer for the recovery of the thousands of wounded.
The army Command called on citizens of Beirut to observe a minute of silence while ringing the church bells and calling to prayer in mosques, along with a suspension of traffic in the vicinity of the port for one minute, marking the moment when the explosion took place, precisely at 6:07 pm next Friday, September 4, 2020.
