Najjar: Port fire under control

Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation Michel Najjar said on Thursday that the fire that had broken earlier today was finally under control.

"The fire broke out in a warehouse away from hangar 12, and we must wait for a comprehensive study of what happened," he added.

He indicated that according to primary reports, the blaze was caused by maintenance works at the facility.
