General strike cuts off roads across Lebanon-[VIDEOS]
Lebanon’s syndicates and several political parties are partaking on Thursday in the general strike called upon by the General Labor Union across Lebanon to demand the formation of a salvation government.
 
This as the Association of Banks in Lebanon also announced that it will partake in today’s strike.
 
The Traffic Management Center said on its twitter account that the road at the Abdel Nasser Mosque intersection in Corniche al-Mazraa is cut off in both directions with traffic directed from the al-Barbir Bridge towards the Bechara al-Khoury intersection.
 
The TMC also noted that the road was cut off by a number protesters at the Khaldeh Bridge in both directions, as well as at the Cola intersection, and at the Azmi intersection in the northern city of Tripoli.
 
The road was also partially cut off at the Chtoura Square.
 
The state-run National News Agency reported that several disputes occurred between citizens and protesters because of the cut off roads.
