Lawsuit filed against Lebanese State and Global Data Services

Attorneys Hassan Bazzi, Abbas Srour and Pierre Gemayel, from “The People Want Regime Reform” group, filed a number of lawsuits before the court of urgent matters in several Lebanese regions, against the Lebanese State and Global Data Services, to call for ending their business acquired according to the decision 1/365 issued by the minister of telecommunications.

The attorneys said that the decision violates the constitution and the telecom law number 341/2002 and the decree 17090/2006, as well as other decrees and laws.

They also noted that they will file a lawsuit before the Shura Council to call for abolishing the said decision.
