President Michel Aoun praised Monday the Lebanese Armed Forces’ readiness to repel any attack on the Lebanese territories and to protect the Lebanese citizens and Syrian refugees in the border town of Arsal and it outskirts, as well as in all the towns located along the border.
During a security meeting held at Baabda presidential palace, attended by LAF Commander General Joseph Aoun, the president said that the latest developments taking place on the ground will have positive results in terms of putting an end to the attacks carries out by the terrorists against the civilians and the army soldiers.
The meeting focused on briefing over the latest security situation along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
