Speaker Nabih Berri received Thursday in Ain al-Tineh Director General of General Security Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim.
Following the meeting, Ibrahim said that he briefed the speaker on all the latest developments as well as the outcome of the negotiations and the agreement reached.
He noted that the content of the agreement will remain confidential, stressing that the ceasefire is standing.
“The gunmen and the civilians who desire to, will head to Idlib in an organized manner under the supervision of the Lebanese state, while the Red Cross will handle the logistics,” he explained.
