REPORT: LAF makes additional advances on 3rd day of offensive

The Lebanese army heavily pounded on Monday the positions of the Islamic State for the third day in a row, making additional advances in the outskirts of Ras Baablbek and al-Qaa.

 

The intensification of the operations came mainly following an attempted suicide attack on Sunday that aimed to target the army’s positions.

 

The sound of shelling has echoed through the night and continued until dawn.
