The Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdel Latif Darian said Wednesday that the hesitation toward the parliamentary elections does not serve the country, stressing that the elections will take place.
On the occasion of the “Hijri New Year” holiday, Darian called for ensuring that all the requirements for the parliamentary elections are provided, in order to conduct them in a peaceful atmosphere.
The Mufti added that the Lebanese army is requested to be at the utmost readiness to face the Israeli enemy.
