Geagea from Sydney: We urge expatriates to practice their right of voting
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea voiced n Tuesday his content for meeting the members of the Maronite League in Sydney.
Geagea’s comments were made during a dinner in Sydney held in his honor whereby he said that Lebanon “is strong despite all that is happening around it in the region.”
He also called on the expatriates to vote for whom they deem appropriate, urging them to register in their embassies and Consulates to practice their rights or to visit Lebanon to vote.
On another note, Geagea reiterated the importance of the Syrian refugees’ return to their homeland.
“No one can lecture us about humanity; we acted in a humanitarian way for 7 years and now it is the time for their return,” he added.
