TSC workers stage sit-in outside Kuwaiti embassy

A march organized by the Lebanese union members and employees of TSC supermarkets protested outside the Kuwaiti Embassy.

The president of the National Federation of Worker and Employee Trade Unions in Lebanon Castro Abdullah delivered a speech in which he urged the Kuwaiti government to help the workers to achieve their right to have their salaries paid following the closure of TSC supermarkets across Lebanon without any legal reason.

He also called the Lebanese Ministry of Labor to take all the legal measures to protect the workers and their rights.

At the end of the march, a memorandum was given to one of embassy’s diplomats.
