FPM: Lebanon’s political, financial and security situation is safe

The Free Patriotic Movement said on Monday that it was surprised by the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri, mainly after the good atmosphere and the cooperation between President Michel Aoun, Hariri and Speaker Nabih Berri.

The FPM’s comments were made following its periodic meeting whereby it assured all Lebanese people about the political, security, social, financial and economic situation in the country is safe.

The movement also urged cooperation in order to pass through this phase with wisdom and calmness.

“All ministers must keep on following up on the affairs of the Lebanese people and to assume their responsibility,” it added.

The FPM concluded by asserting that the parliamentary elections will take place on their due time.
