Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil said Friday that “there is an attempt to create chaos in the region, and the events taking place in Lebanon are a proof,” stressing that any “punishment that might hit Lebanon, will affect the entire region.”
Speaking to “Russia Today” during his visit to Moscow, Bassil said that “in case the prime minister makes a mistake, the Lebanese people are the ones to judge and replace him, not foreign powers,” adding that Lebanese officials are involved in the latest events.
