Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil has been holding talks with Arab foreign ministers in a bid to diffuse the intensity of the statement expected to be issued following the emergency Cairo meeting, stressing the need the disassociate Lebanon from the issue of the Iranian intervention in Arab States.
Bassil briefed President Michel Aoun, Speaker Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Saad Hariri on the outcome of his contacts in Cairo and coordinated his required moves with them.
