Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah called upon all the resistance groups in the region to communicate and meet up to set a unified strategy for confrontation after the decision of the US President Donald Trump to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
He also said that “Trump’s decision is going to be the beginning of Israel’s end.”
Nasrallah showed support to Jerusalem on Monday during the demonstration that was held in the southern suburb of Beirut.
“The most significant reaction to Trump’s decision is to totally isolate the Zionist entity, to exert public and political pressure, and to cut all Arab ties with Israel,” he said, stressing that the most significant reaction Trump’s decision is to declare a third Palestinian Intifada.
He also noted that the Lebanese people are proud of their national unity regarding Jerusalem, Palestine and the position against Trump’s decision.
Hezbollah’s Secretary General also praised the position of President Michel Aoun over this situation, as well as the stances of Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil and Iraq during the Arab summit.
Nasrallah also considered that everyone knows that, “the US is not a sponsor of peace in Palestine or the region, but it is a sponsor of terrorism, displacement, sedition, and the creator of ISIS and the extremists groups.”
He also reiterated that “the Bahraini delegation that went to Occupied Palestine does not represent the people or their will, but it represents the authority in the country.”
