REPORT: Hezbollah and PSP officials hold periodic meeting

A periodic meeting was held on Tuesday between Hezbollah and Progressive Socialist Party where discussions tackled the internal situation in the light of Lebanon’s latest political crisis.
 
Both parties expressed their satisfaction with Lebanon’s overcoming the latest crisis, hailing the cabinet’s resumption of its work.
 
“The country overcoming its recent crisis was due to the Lebanese people’s awareness, their care and support for Lebanon, and their rejection to any threat to the national unity and the internal stability,” the officials said.
 
They also stressed the importance of reactivating the work of the constitutional institutions, the regulatory bodies.
 
The officials also highlighted the need to fight corruption in order to protect the public money and to be conscious of all economic dangers. They also said that the cabinet should prioritize the developmental matters and the daily issues that affect the Lebanese people’s lives.
