President Aoun says Lebanese people overcame crisis with their national unity

President Michel Aoun said on Friday that the Lebanese people overcame the last crisis with their national unity.

 

“Our head remained high because we did not cede to pressure,” Aoun said to a delegation Beirut Bar Association.

 

On another note, Aoun stressed that Lebanon’s stance over Jerusalem’s status garnered an International and Arab support.

 

“What we have said at the Istanbul conference distinguished Lebanon from other countries and highlighted its unifying role,” Aoun concluded by saying.
