Speaker Nabih Berri reiterated his call for moving the Islamic embassies from Washington and for boycotting the Trump administration until rescinding the decision to consider Jerusalem a part of Israel.
He also called for suspending all peace talks until the issuance of a clear statement putting an end to settlements.
During the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Iran, Berri called for supporting the resistance of the Palestinian cause until the right to return is restored, stressing the need to cancel the Oslo agreement with a complete objection to all settlement projects.
He also sounded the alarm on Israel's plan to initiate the construction of a wall in a disputed territory along the Lebanese border with occupied Palestine, adding that the UNIFIL has been informed.
