Army finds two more bodies in mountains of al-Souairi

Sources told LBCI on Sunday that the Lebanese army found two additional bodies for a woman and a toddler in the outskirts of al-Souairi.

Yesterday, two more bodies of Syrian refugees were also found in the mountains of al-Souairi, bringing the total number of victims in the past two days to 17.

The Lebanese Armed Forces and the ISF Information branch, with the help of the Civil Defense teams, worked on recovering the body of the woman (believed to be in her fifties) from the mountains and transferring it to one of the region’s hospitals.

Al-Souairi Mayor Hussein Amer stressed the need to find a solution for the problem, “since the situation has become unbearable,” calling on the President, Prime Minister and Speaker to put an end to the illegal entry of Syrians into Lebanon.
