Syrian army thwarts infiltration attempt on Syrian-Lebanese border
A unit of the Syrian Arab Army has thwarted on Saturday an infiltration attempt from the Lebanese territory into Syria’s Talkalakh region.

The SANA agency reported that the border guards of the Syrian Arab Army clashed with a terrorist group near the village of Maarbo in Talkalakh western countryside while trying to smuggle into one of the illegal crossings on the Syrian-Lebanese border.

This as a Syrian national identified as (Kh. H.) residing in the Lebanese town of Sheikh Ayash was found shot at the Syrian bank of the Great River, on one of the smuggling crossings off the Lebanese towns of Aboudieh and Qashlaq.
