Chairman of General Labor Confederation Beshara al-Asmar said that the solution is to fill in the vacancies at Electricite Du Liban according to correct rules, calling for paying rightful and just compensations for those who failed their tests or those who did not want to undergo them or those who are over the legal age, and to pay the salaries of the past two months for all employees and contract workers.
In a press conference at the GLC headquarters, al-Asmar said that guaranteeing work continuity is a main demand, urging Energy Minister Cesar Abi Khalil to continue his cooperation in order to reach a solution that satisfies everyone.
