Complaint filed against Hicham Haddad, Wissam Saad

The National Council of Audio and Visual Media received on Thursday a complaint filed by the Episcopal Media Committee against two TV shows broadcast on New TV and LBCI channels.

The complaint stated that the hosts of the shows, Wissam Saad (Known as Abou Talal) and Hicham Haddad tackled paragraphs and events mentioned in the Bible in an ironic way.

The head of National Council of Audio and Visual Media Abdel Hadi Mahfouz called the two TV channels in order to deposit a copy of the episodes, subject of the complaint, to the council in order to voice opinion and to suggest appropriate procedures to Minister of Information Melhem Riachi.
