Maronite Patriarch Beshara Boutros Rai called on each team to present its electoral program to serve the country, rather than throwing insults towards the others, hoping that the elections will bring a new phase, so that the country can move forward.
Speaking from Baabda palace after meeting with President Michel Aoun, Rai expressed regret over the electoral law situation.
He also said that he congratulated the president over the confidence that was showed by foreign states in Lebanon in the support conferences held abroad.
