Minister of Defense Yaacoub al-Sarraf rejected on Saturday the use of the Lebanese airspace to attack Syria, stressing that "such actions would drag Lebanon into a war rather than helping it to execute the disassociation policy."
The minister also condemned the tripartite aggression on Syria, saying "this aggression is based on military force, while the language of peace, logic and negotiation is the one that should prevail." On the other hand, al-Sarraf stressed Lebanon's commitment to international resolutions, especially UNSC Resolution 1701.
