Cabinet makes changes in working hours of public sector employees

A Cabinet session was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

Mnisters Talal Erslan, Yaacoub al-Sarraf and Melhem Riachi did not attend the session.

The Cabinet endorsed a new working hours for public sector employees. The new schedule starts form 7:30 AM until 3:15 PM from Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 AM until 11:00 Am on Friday.

Cabinet Thursday endorsed a new 34-hour work week schedule for public sector employees during a session at the Grand Serail, Social Affairs Minister Pierre Bou Assi told The Daily Star.
