Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon Christina Lassen visited Speaker Nabih Berri to congratulate him on his reelection and to discuss with him the political situation on both the local and regional scenes.
Lassen reiterated the EU’s support to all democratic processes in Lebanon, a statement issued by the EU mission in Lebanon pointed out.
She added that the EU is looking forward to a swift formation of a new cabinet in order to boost the country’s stability and achieve economic development.
