President Michel Aoun sponsored an event at Baabda presidential palace on Monday to deliver new vehicles for the Lebanese Red Cross.
During the event, Aoun delivered a speech whereby he said that “one of the most basic rights of Red Cross paramedics is to recognize their sacrifices and their martyrdom,” noting that he will follow up on the draft law pertaining to considering any Red Cross paramedic who dies on mission as a martyr.
