Rai: Officials must rise above their personal interests

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai called on the Lebanese officials to rise above their personal interests and illegal financial benefits.

"Isn't it weird that the Cabinet formation obstacle is limited to the distribution of ministerial portfolios and personal gains instead of forming a technocrat government that includes experts who will conduct reforms as set by the Cedre conference," Rai added during his Sunday’s sermon.
