Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli stressed Thursday that it is the responsibility of the President to be at the same distance from the majority and the opposition, calling on Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri to set one standard, based on which he has to form the cabinet.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Ferzli emphasized the need to put in place a road map to boost the role of the parliament through monitoring and questioning in order to fight corruption and hold accountable the corrupt parties.
“The spirit of the presidential settlement in my opinion is different from what PM Hariri has been doing,” he stated.
