British Ambassador to Lebanon Hugo Shorter said that the election of Michel Aoun as president was an important step in resuming the work of the state’s institution, hoping that a new cabinet will see the light soon so that further achievements related to the economy will be realized.
In a statement to LBCI, Shorter stressed that he hopes to see a cabinet formed soon that does not harm Lebanon’s position in the region, a cabinet that respects the disassociation policy and appropriately balanced.
