Sources from the Lebanese delegation to Moscow told LBCI that the Lebanese delegation detected a resentment expressed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov concerning the behavior of some employees at the United Nations regarding the issue of the refugees.
The sources added that Lavrov accused these employees of exploiting their positions for personal gains, and said that he tackled the issue with the UN Secretary General.
The sources also pointed out that caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil agreed on forming a Lebanese-Russian joint committee to follow up on the implementation of the Russian initiative on the issue of the refugees.
