Kuwaiti Ambassador to Lebanon Abdel Aal al-Kinai praised Wednesday the "official and popular Lebanese positions condemning the attack against Kuwait and its emir, which reaffirms the deep-rooted ties and fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples."
In a statement, the ambassador noted that “the sincere brotherly feelings expressed by our brothers in Lebanon towards Kuwait and its leadership, starting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri and former prime ministers, as well as various political forces and economic bodies, religious, social and media figures, in addition to labor unions, reaffirm the two countries' deep-rooted relations which would never be affected by claims and abuses of small people."
He also expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Lebanese people for voicing solidarity with Kuwait "the country that has always stood by Lebanon in its crises."
