Oneissi defense team continues closing arguments at STL

The Special Tribunal for Lebanon’s defense team for Hussein Oneissi continued on Thursday its closing arguments.

The defense lawyers for Oneissi noted that the prosecution did not prove that Abou Addas was kidnapped or obliged to appear in the video that was published after late Prime Minister Rafic Hariri’s assassination.

These as the closing arguments were attended by people who were affected by the attack that took place of February 14, 2005.

According to the prosecution, Oneissi took part in the “false-claim” operation that was a key element in the attack that killed former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and 21 others.
