Inspection of airport passengers shortly stopped after dispute between ISF and LAF

The inspection of passengers at Rafic Hariri International Airport was shortly stopped on Wednesday following a dispute between members of the Internal Security Forces and the Lebanese Army.

The dispute has been the result of accumulated tensions between top airport’s officers in the ISF and the LAF.

 

This as Caretaker Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq later on inspected the airport and said that things returned to normal, adding that the dispute will not be repeated again.
