MP Kanaan to LBCI: No one wants a Cabinet without LF
MP Ibrahim Kanaan said on Saturday that "national responsibility pushes all Lebanese officials to form a new cabinet as soon as possible."

“Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri is continuing his contacts so we can have a Cabinet lineup in the next two days,” he said during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show.

He also noted that each political party must take its appropriate share, adding that the share of the Lebanese Forces in the next cabinet is 3 ministerial portfolio and the Deputy Prime Minister post.

As for the Justice Ministry, Kanaan noted that this portfolio must be among President Michel Aoun’s share in the government.

“President Aoun has a project that he wants to achieve and this is why he is adamant on this ministry,” Kanaan added.
Answering a question about the non-participation of the LF in the cabinet, Kanaan said that "no one wants a government without the Lebanese Forces."
