Results of Beirut Bar Association elections are out

The elections of the Beirut Bar Association were held Sunday at the Justice Palace.

 

The candidates who won membership to the bar’s council are Elie Bazerli (Independent backed by FPM), Elie Hashash (LF candidate), Fadi Haddad (FPM candidate) and Imad Martinos (Independent backed by Kataeb).

 

The candidates who won membership of the retirement fund are Said Alameh (Independent), Maurice Diab (FPM candidate), Youssef al-Khatib (Independent), Souad Choueib (Amal Movement candidate) and Remond Joumhouri (Kataeb candidate).

 

Member of the bar’s council Wajih Massaad withdrew, allowing Jamil Kambris to win.
