On Wednesday December 12, 2018, the fuel prices in Lebanon registered a new significant drop, where the prices of 98 and 95 octane fuel decreased 600 LBP, while the price of diesel oil dropped 800 LBP and that of gas 300 LBP.
The table issued by the Ministry of Energy and Water set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 23,400 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 24,000 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 18,000 LBP
- Gas: 13,400 LBP
