Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri stressed that “Lebanon’s economic and social challenges are growing due to the continued presence of one and a half million Syrians displaced for the eighth year in a row.”
Speaking at the Lebanon-UK Business and Investment Forum in London, Hariri tackled the issue of the cabinet formation, stating that “it may be true that the formation has not yet been formed, but we are working towards the success of CEDRE conference.”
“I believe that despite all the ongoing turmoil, the region is headed towards a period of stability, growth and prosperity, and we all need to be prepared for this phase in order to tap into the numerous investment and business opportunities that lie ahead,” he added.
