Israel seeks UN Security Council public session over tunnels

Diplomatic sources told LBCI that Israel is seeking to hold a public session for the UN Security Council to discuss the issue of the tunnels in the south, in an attempt to amend the mission of the UNIFIL, stating violation of the UN resolution 1701.

The sources noted that Lebanon has been holding contacts on the diplomatic level to discuss the Israeli claims.
