President Michel Aoun stressed Tuesday that the Lebanese economy is not built upon one dimension, “but it is an interaction of different means of production.
In this regard, he emphasized the need "to make efforts to develop the economy and face the reality that resulted from years of crises that have accumulated in Lebanon."
The President’s remarks came during a meeting at the Baabda Palace with chairman of the Beirut Merchants Association, Nicola Shammas, accompanied by a delegation from the board of directors of the association.
Aoun pointed out that the financial meeting which he chaired at the Baabda Palace last Sunday aimed at "clearing the confusion that arose as a result of media statements about the financial reality of the State. All is back to normal."
