Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul Gheit thanked President Michel Aoun for hosting the Arab Economic and Social development Summit in Beirut.
Following his meeting with the president at Baabda presidential palace, Abou Gheit voiced his deep appreciation to the Lebanese organization, stressing that, each hour he spends in Lebanon, he becomes more convinced that this summit will be successful.
“We will wait and see the level of representation of the Arab states during the summit, and Lebanon deserves to be honored for the efforts deployed for this event,” he added.
